A short, but wonderful stay at Loadstar room & suites. Our host, Marios was nothing short of amazing - we called upon arrival & he came literally within 2 minutes - very hospitable, helpful & welcoming. The location is nice & tucked away with a lovely restaurant (roula taverna) overlooking the port just a few minutes walk. The room was just as pictured, with a clever layout. Nice touch including robes, slippers & mini fridge with cold water inside. Would definitely recommend if you want a quieter stay on the island.

We had a wonderful stay at Loadstar. The apartments, yet small, had everything you needed. The whole place was beautifully clean and well managed. The breakfast in the garden was lovely and we mostly had the pool to ourselves during our stay. It’s 10 mins if that to the local beach and 15/20 mins to the marina. We had a car for 3 days which allowed us to see other areas of the island. Extra shout out to Marios who couldn’t have been more hospital during our stay. Would totally stay at Loadstar again.

Wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful and very well-maintained. The room was spotless and incredibly clean. The staff provided excellent service—always friendly and helpful. Plus, the breakfast was delicious, featuring eggs, yogurt, and fresh fruit. They also offer free parking, which is a huge plus! Highly recommended! We will definitely be back!

This hotel is a beautiful little oasis that offers both charm and privacy. The property is even more impressive in person, and the photos really don’t do it justice. My room included a private pool, which made the stay feel extra special and relaxing. A special thank you to Marios, who was incredibly helpful throughout my stay and always went above and beyond to assist. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with excellent service, I highly recommend this hotel.

This was the most fabulous place to stay in Corfu. Marios and Barbara were so, so helpful and kind to us. The room was perfectly furnished, immaculately clean and secured well with a passcode and key. Breakfast was so lovely each morning! We came as a group of 9 girls and Marios was able to help us find good places to shop, eat, transport services and always answered our texts when there was a problem. Being right beside the beach in such a tranquil location and only a 10/15 minute bus from Old Town, this was the perfect hotel for exploring and enjoying Corfu. We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality and helpfulness. Book this place now!!!!!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Loadstar! The surroundings are beautiful, and the entire property is incredibly well-kept. The swimming pool is cleaned daily, the garden offers a very relaxing atmosphere with plenty of shaded seating, and the sunbeds are in great condition. ​Our host, Marios, truly went above and beyond. He is the perfect host—exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and always quick to reply to both calls and WhatsApp messages. If there was ever a small issue, he resolved it immediately. ​Breakfast is served at a time of your choosing, featuring a freshly prepared platter with a selection of bread and pastries, a hard-boiled egg, Greek yogurt, and jam/honey, accompanied by juice and coffee or tea. The rooms are also very nice, clean, and come with a spacious balcony. We highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay here. The host was so welcoming and accommodating, and ensured to greet us kindly each day. Beautiful rooms and very modern, although looked in some spaces like it was a work in progress, eg one of the wall sockets kept making an electrical clicking sound (so we avoided using to avoid damage to devices), the light fixtures seemed unfinished and the shower nozzle seemed to squirt upwards and outward over the top (making a mess of bathroom). Overall these didn’t ruin the experience but just felt like some natural teething issues with a new property. I’m sure by time I write this they’ve all been fixed by now! We’d definitely return, it was gorgeous overall! :)

Loadstar Rooms & Suites was a little hidden gem and the perfect oasis for a relaxing stay in Corfu.From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had discovered a really special place. The pool isn't huge, but honestly, it's just the right size for a refreshing dip and cooling off after a day in the Corfu sunshine. The rooms were beautiful, luxurious and exceptionally clean, with everything feeling very well cared for.A special mention has to go to Mario the barman who was fantastic. He was incredibly friendly, took the time to chat with us and really made us feel welcome. It's those little touches that make a stay even more memorable.As the property is still undergoing development, there are a couple of things worth mentioning. At the moment, there aren't any outdoor toilets and checkout is at 11:00am. However, these are planned to be developed over the coming years, and personally, we wouldn't let either of these things put you off. The potential of this place is huge, and we can only imagine how fantastic it will be as everything is completed.The location is also great for exploring. The beach is around a 10–15 mi walk from the apartments, while little town of Kontokali is approx a 20min stroll away. We definitely recommend giving Taverna Zorbas a try, but go hungry because the portions are seriously generous.Overall, We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. We hope our review helps fellow travellers.

Loadstar Rooms was wonderful and very nicely furnished, the suite was perfect for us, having the freedom to cook when we wanted and go out to the local area for food was great. It's perfectly situated for exploring the island so you can reach the beautiful beaches on the west coast, the fishing villages in the north and Corfu old town in 10 minutes.

Stylish and peaceful haven

We loved our spacious suite with separate lounge area and bedroom, both with patio doors. The patio itself was also large, with 4 Sun beds, table and chairs and our own little pool. What we didn’t expect was the lovely lawn and gardens around the rooms. We enjoyed the peace of this little haven. There is a lovely fish taverna a few minutes away and a 5 star hotel and Kontokali beach a short walk the other way. Otherwise, it’s at least a 20 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and the start of Gouvia village and Marina. All fine if you don’t mind walking in the heat or have a hire car.

Highly recommended

The apartment was clean, new and in good condition. Owners are service-minded. For instance, the time of our flight arrival and departure did not align well with the time of check-in and check-out. Stamatis was happy to ensure a more flexible approach for us, making our travel substantially smoother. Cleaning staff was polite, thourough and provided everything we needed. Staff as a whole took great care of us. Highly recommended for couples.

We had a fantastic time at Loadstar Rooms & Suits! We had an apartment with a kitchen which was perfect for our 11 day stay. We had breakfast and dinner on our beautiful balcony with ocean view. The apartment is well equipped and designed in a very modern yet classic interior. The location is also perfect - by car you reach korfu city within 10 minutes. There is a private parking space. Shopping facilities and restaurants are also just around the corner. The apartment was cleaned every two days and Lisa took great care of it and was very kind. She even left some flowers in the room since we spent my birthday there. The entire service team and hosts were very friendly and easy to reach in case of questions. You sometimes hear the neighbours a little bit but that wasn’t a problem for us at all. We would definitely recommend Loadstar and will be back!

We loved everything about our visit. The staff were wonderful; very helpful & friendly. The accommodations were lovely; we loved spending time on our balcony overlooking the property. The grounds were gorgeous, full of flowers and plants. We loved how it was just an easy stroll to a nice nearby beach. Marios and Barbara were so sweet and helpful. Our only (stong!) suggestion would be to have an ice machine on the property. It was difficult to bring food & drinks back to the room to be enjoyed right away if they needed cooling down. The single tiny ice tray really didn’t make a dent in the situation. We really wished we had spent less time in Athens & more time in Corfu. Corfu is what we will look back on the most fondly on our vacation.
