We planned the trip to see the moonbow on Cumberland Falls on a full moon. We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed for renovations, but this is a beautiful state park and we were pleased with our stay. The Park Ranger at the falls was very courteous and informative and I enjoyed talking to him.

Air conditioning was great! Room had fridge/ microwave, full bathroom and TV. Room had plates, silverware and glasses. The grocery on site had very minimal items, no food. The Moonbow Cafe was more of a snack stand, again very limited for food items. Nearest place for food is 20 minutes away, so plan accordingly. Falls area has picnic tables and truck that sells funnel cakes. Visitors center is informative and gift shop has a lot of nice items.

Overall, it was wonderful. Spacious room, comfortable bed and dog friendly. However, we did have some ants in our room (mostly kitchen), and the WiFi was spotty. The pool also opened later than posted on Friday, which was unfortunate but likely out of the properties control. We will definitely be back, especially when the restaurant and lodge are back open.

We had a cabin with 2 double beds— very clean, refrigerator, good a/c, coffee maker. Comfy beds with 4 nice pillows! Not updated by modern standards but very nice! 1/2 mile from the very cool Cumberland Falls overlooks.

Nice quiet area comfortable beds and pillows. The back deck could use a good sprouce. Better cleaning under beds is highly recommended. They was a bowl of sugar from a previous guest under our bed we found when I dropped my shoe. Mice and mice droppings was also seen.

With the Lodge under renovation dining options limited onsite and locally. Trails in need of some attention. Room could use an update but clean and functional. Until the lodge reopens bring food to grill. Staff was very helpful. Worth the trip!

Staff was the best part of the stay. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The Lodge was under renovation so we stayed in a cabin. Loved that there was a kitchenette. Although dated, the cabins were clean and comfortable. The beds and bedding were also comfortable with plenty of pillows.
