We had a fantastic 1 night stay before heading to the Wrangell St Elias Visitor Center (few minutes drive). It’s a great starting spot for driving the McCarthy road. The rooms were perfect. The hosts were wonderful and offered great advice for things to do and places to eat. Their house is beautiful!

Our stay at the cabin was brief, but was exactly what we needed. It was clean, comfortable and provided facilities to fix our meals and prep for our shuttle to Kennicott and overnight stay there. It was so very convenient that the shuttle picked up at the property and that we were able to leave our car overnight. I had so many questions and the host was very responsive. It was great meeting the owner upon our return and we truly appreciated the gift they sent us on our way with ;) Thank you!

Wonderful hosts. We had an entire walkout basement....two bedrooms, bath, 2 sitting areas and a kitchenette. Good value. The property was very clean,plenty of towels, sheets, etc. The hosts were extremely helpful and nice. Only slight negative was the kitchen; would have liked a larger frig/freezer and a burner to make some eggs and sandwiches.

Easy access from parking directly in front of the building down a few stairs to the room. Coded entry - easy. Separate bedroom from the family/kitchenette area - comfy. Short drive to the main town area of Copper Center. Owners were there when we arrived - nice people. Enjoyable, convenient stay for a trip to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park Visitor Center.

This place was very cozy. The owner Luann was very knowledgeable about the area. We wanted something not quite in the middle of everything and this was perfect. Explored Wrangell StElias NP quite a bit which was spectacular! Although this is no longer a B&B we knew that when we booked. There were other options in the area still open for the season such as Nummys in Copper Center, which was amazingly good!!!!

This cozy basement apartment offers a perfect place to rest and unwind after a busy day. Two bedrooms and a sitting/tv area. A small kitchenette. One of the bonus features is the Kennicott Shuttle stops right in the driveway to head on up to the Kennicott Mill and Macarthy. LuAnn was so helpful and very welcoming.

Great Stay!

We booked last minute but the hosts were amazing and immediately communicative. We had a whole downstairs suite with two rooms and a kitchenette and it was very welcoming and comfortable. We loved every minute of it and would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Wonderful cabin! Wonderful people! My wife and kids had traveled over 4000 miles in a cross country trip to Alaska and they really appreciated the hospitality of the hosts and the comfortable and clean lodging after many days on the road. It's the bottom level of a home. It's a small apartment, basically. Very nice, quiet, private. Alaskan Hares playing outside the window, so cute. Old Town/ Nummys has great food just a couple of miles away.

A Gem in the Wilderness

This is my second time staying here. The folks are great and the accommodations are spectacular! If you're driving from Anchorage to McCarthy...this is a great place to stay and break up the long drive. Plus...you're only minutes from Grizzly Pizza you may have seen on TV!
