The hotel is a dreamy design and has a very spectacular presentation as well as comfortable and welcoming. It is not near the main part of town and transportation is limited. The town is very unique and quaint, so if the hotel could accommodate a ride it would be ideal. The room was very comfortable and newly decorated and clean. The wood used in the decore gives a warm and cozy feel. The courtyard is awesome in the detail of design, as well as beautiful flower pots. It would be a great place to hangout next to a fire.

The placer is small and cozy, very clean, very attractive staff. What I love the most was the location, far from the main street that is very noice all night. We have stayed in the Main Street and we’re not able to sleep all night long. However this place location is quiet, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Everyone should stay here!

Wonderful friendly staff. Excellent food. Just outside of town. If you don’t have a car they can give you a ride in and out of town. Very quiet.

Great family stay

We were a group of 7 from 84 to 45 years of age range. We got 3 rooms and the stay was just what we needed. They provided a shuttle to pick us up from the train El Chepe. And we got a tour from them as well as a ride to the airport. Excellent guides and the breakfast that was included was delicious!

Since the moment we walked in, the staff was very friendly and attentive. We were aware we got there way before check in. However, they made us feel at home and as soon as the room was ready, they allowed us to check in. The food here was really good and the activities they offer were really fun and adventurous. Gustavo was a great guide! Fun, funny, and caring. We made a new friend! My wife and I celebrated our 1st year anniversary and we have so many wonderful memories to bring back home. Armando, thank you for making us feel at home. We will definitely come back.

A few issues kept it from being amazing.

The facility is beautiful, clean, and the staff was very pleasant. The food and drinks in the restaurant were delicious. There were a few issues which kept it from being an amazing property. 1. The curtains on the windows are handmade. They are very charming, but do not block out light and definitely don’t fully cover the windows for privacy. 2. The pool lights are very, very bright. Like obnoxiously so. Because the curtains don’t really work, two couples in our group said it was like trying to sleep in a discoteca. 3. In two of the rooms, there was a speaker just outside the doors. The music was too loud and kept going well into the night. We had an early morning getting on the train, so that kind of sucked. The last thing of note isn’t really a criticism. We knew it when we booked it, but it might be helpful for other travelers: The property is a little outside of the town center. It’s walkable, but it’s maybe a 10 to 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants and it’s in an area without much lighting at night. If you are traveling on El Chepe, you will probably want to arrange car transport to and from the station.
