Overall, the hotel looks nice and the location is great, strong positive for me were the friendliness of the check in staff, selection of juices for breakfast and the roof top terrace. However,a number of things that could be better: - breakfast staff seemed slow/understaffed which made tables looked a bit messy,I also constantly had to get up something as there never seemed anything around (small tea spoon, salt&pepper, etc) - roof top terrace staff could be friendlier - bad smell in the hallways of the hotel - nice bathrooms, but awful design (you get wet just to figure out which way the shower operates). The fact that it comes with instructions is NOT a good thing

We really liked the rooftop bar. It closed at 10, but it was good. They had blankets when it was a bit chilly, which was a nice touch. The courtyard was also lovely. Our room was cozy but had everything we needed and was very clean. Close to some restaurants and a nice, easy walk to attractions. Very convenient location to the train station to get to the airport or other destinations. Nice stay!

There was a hotel maintenance issue that caused us to smell intense gas fumes as soon as we walked in our room Saturday night along with many other hotel guests so we had to be moved to the hotel's sister location in Copenhagen at 3AM.

Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Inside the room was perfect—clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Some of the common areas (hallways) could use a little touch up but overall the hotel is lovely. Great location for hoping on a bike and getting all over the city. Did not take advantage of the restaurant or rooftop but they were both beautiful.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt im Grand Joanne. Schon beim Check-in wurden wir positiv überrascht, da wir sogar ein Upgrade auf eine Junior Suite bekommen haben – ein perfekter Start in den Urlaub! Das Hotel ist modern, stilvoll und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich. Die Lage ist hervorragend: Direkt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs und damit ideal, um Kopenhagen zu Fuß oder mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erkunden. Besonders gefallen hat uns die angenehme Atmosphäre im gesamten Hotel. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Für einen Städtetrip nach Kopenhagen würden wir das Grand Joanne jederzeit wieder wählen und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

This hotel is in a great location right outside Copenhagen Central station. They offered online check-out so you don't have to queue at reception on your way out. You could order amenities (cutlery, extra towels etc) for your room on an app. If you opt out of daily housekeeping, you get a free drink per guest for each day you skip housekeeping, which we didn't redeem but we thought it was a nice touch. There were a few mysterious stains on the carpet but the room was otherwise clean. We had a lovely stay overall.

We had a lovely stay at the NH Copenhagen Grand Joanne! The property is well managed and maintained and has a lovely ambiance. We were lucky to also experience lovely weather while we were there, which allowed us to take advantage of the rooftop terrace. The breakfast was nice and the the property is a short walk from many fun attractions and things to do and see in Copenhagen. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
