Our second time staying at Copenhagen Island and it's still great. Only disappointment is that the restaurant is no longer open for dinner. Rooms were clean, nice breakfast (although VERY crowded) and the harbour pool just outside is lovely for a swim. Also only a few minutes walk away from supermarket and shopping centre, and a short underground trip into the centre of Copenhagen.

So a few very disappointing points: pillows were horrible, blackout curtains were too light and light came in from the bottom, no ice bucket or ice machine, no instant coffee in room just tea,no cleaning of my room until late in afternoon, if at all. Overpriced breakfast buffet and generally overpriced room. Staff was excellent and super polite.

Easy check in and check out. Right next to mall food court (most convenient). Rooms are a bit small, but maybe I am used to USA hotel rooms which are perhaps a bit larger. The hotel was very modern and was located next to a large shopping mall with a great food court. This is important because there is no hotel restaurant. Also the IKEA across the street is an added bonus because you get a very reasonably priced meal in their cafeteria. The bathrooms feature a tub which is unusual. However it needs to be said that the tub is very slippery and the grab bar is in the wrong location. It makes it quite difficult to get out of the tub easily.
