We usually stay here when we visit Coonabarabran. It is quiet and well situated. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are nice.

On an earlier stay, road noise was minimum. This time the room was closer to the highway and truck noise was clearly audible through the night.

Great location, very comfortable

This is the second time we have stayed. Rooms are newly renovated, except for bathrooms, and extremely comfortable. We asked for quiet rooms, the manager contacted us in advance to say the King rooms we booked were the closest to the road and she would let us change to rooms at the back when we arrived, should we wish to do so. We ended up staying in the rooms we had stayed in in the past, closer to the road. Sunday night was very quiet, monday there was qiet rumbles of the B-Doubles on the highway but nothing that would interfere with sleep. On departure the manager asked whether the noise was an issue. When we said, surprisingly not, she explained that the motels up the road often had complaints became they were located where the 100kmh zone vhanges to 50kmh so the trucks are going faster and braking, so noisier. This motel is in the 50kmh zone so trucks are going slower and are quieter. Makes sense. Bathrooms are original, very retro but very well maintained and fantastic shower pressure. We will definitely stay again on our next trip through Coonabarabran .

We were provided individual breakfast packs at check-in which was a nice touch and removed the need to go searching for food early next morning. The room was very clean, a good size, and conveniently located, whilst the electric blankets were a very welcome inclusion in the chilly weather. The room could have used extra wall / ceiling lights and some additional power points - but all up a very comfortable stay, and we will happily book there again.

Beds & linen were very comfortable and set up nicely. Simple breakfast was supplied which we didn't realise and was much appreciated. Suggestions of local dining options were helpfully provided, good internet connection. Our kids loved swimming in the pool. We'd happily stay again.
