We booked Paradise Lakes Motel through Expedia, but when we arrived late at night after driving from Melbourne, there was nobody at reception. We called the motel’s landline and the mobile number displayed at the property, but neither was answered.
We couldn’t find another place to stay at that hour, so we had to wait until 6 am to check in. We then left at 11 am to continue driving to Canberra. The owner did not apologise or offer an...

“No contact, except for one telephone call by me, to let them know my phone number because Expedia does not supply it to them. Check-in and check-out via SMS, no face to face contact. I like the method they use to let you access the room on arrival.”

Disappointing thing was unavailability of staff at a time I reported the kettle suddenly stopped working. Also property situated on busy main road which was noisy.
Otherwise stay was comfortable.”
