Clean room/bathroom, good linen and towels, breakfast was basic but enjoyable. Curtains were good blockout and air conditioner/heater worked well. Plenty of space and facilities worked well. TV had Netflix and YouTube available but no TV channels. They were available on the large TV in the lounge area. Stay was only overnight but other guests (it's a guest house) had been there for 3 nights and were enjoying it.
this guesthouse is easy to find and very comfortable. Owner greeted us and was very friendly. Great to be able to help ourselves to breakfast - fresh fruit, a variety of cereals and bread. All very clean and will definately return

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Check in was easy and the welcome was very friendly. Unfortunately the guesthouse was very cold and we had to ask for assistance with extra heating.
The included breakfast made the accommodation good value. Location was good for a quick walk to get a meal.
What a gem! I needed accommodation for a
Work trip and this accommodation had great reviews - and rightly so.
Big room, quiet location, comfortable bed and HOT shower (winner in the winter especially).
Nice breakfast available and good location to other restaurants etc
I’ll definitely come back next time I need accommodation in Cooma.
The room was very nice and comfortable. We were very surprised that the breakfast was poor. We understand it’s a European breakfast with just a juice, a tea and some toast, but it could’ve been a little better for the money we paid and the yogurt was expired so we had toast and coffee. It would be nice if they had had some muffins or croissant or a slice of cheese, etc..
The property was beautiful and charming.Everything was clean. check in was quick and easy. Netflix provided. Breakfast was quite adequate and fresh with varied selections.. We were happy with our stay. The town is beautiful and not far. we even received a lovely little gift.
We stayed at the Ellstanmor Guesthouse for two nights with our friends. The location was on a quiet street just a couple of blocks walk from the center of town. The rooms were clean and cozy. Breakfast was included and offered a variety of breads, fruit and cereals. Our host was very helpful and accommodating.
The host,David,,was extremely helpful and considerate. The accomodation had a particular old world charm and we loved it, so much to say it was the most charming and different stay of our whole trip. The inclusion of breakfast was most welcome and appreciated.
Loved the stay with a lot of character but if you are thinking 5 star it’s not. Building is old with creaky floorboards and heating comes on at 7.30 and it probably would be noisy if accommodation was full. It suits seniors who like quaint and nostalgic. Breakfast room was lovely and we used the cozy sitting room. Owner/manager friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and matched with the style of accommodation. Would definitely stay there again.
Our stay was very pleasant. We walked to dinner and shopping.
Our room was nice but I would have liked a place for our towels that was not over the toilet!
I loved the dining room with the breakfast set up and the supply of crockery etc.
My preferred venue when staying in Cooma. The new owner David has added a couple of touches to make a stay more enjoyable. Being a small, boutique guesthouse there is negligible noise to interrupt a quiet night's sleep.
