Vacations Close To Convoy District

Ideal location for families in terms of activities, open space, beach playtime. Restaurants are excellent in terms of both food quality and reasonable price. Downside is the age of the buildings - feels like a 1978 summer camp.

The overall location was absolutely fantastic and the check-in process was flawless and very helpful. But you could tell it’s kind of rundown. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The handle for the shower was just about to fall off. The floors are worn. But the resort itself was a decent one. Out on the patio though there were these tiny little black bugs that seem to be crawling all over us and we learned don’t go out on the patio lol. Just wish we could re do on a first floor in a clean room.

I was charge a daily resort fee plus $35 a day for parking. Nothing about either of these this was mentioned on the Expedia website. There is plenty of parking---the place is essentially an upscale motel---and the resort fee was for...what? Using the ice machine? We didn't even get into the pool or jacuzzi. Ok place but in no way was it appropriate to charge fancy prices for extras they don't provide. And not cool of Expedia not to mention the fees.
