“Lovely hotel / pub in a very scenic location. Beautiful views. We had 2 cottages for our extended family group of 7 adults/ 4 children. Spent the afternoon enjoying the patio drinks and watching the water flow. Had a delicious Sunday dinner in the lovely upper dining room. Beds were comfortable and had everything we needed . Would definitely stay again .”

“My husband and I stayed two nights in June while exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The location is excellent, in a quintessential Dales village, with a number of fun shops and eateries. The room was simply furnished but perfectly adequate. Be aware there are a number of steps, and the tub/shower is deep to step into, so not a good choice if you have accessibility issues.”

“I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good night’s sleep in quiet surroundings, as the hotel is located in the...
