“Lovely renovated sea view room, quiet. Great breakfast. Only downside was the lack of an elevator. Staff were really helpful and allowed a late checkout,organised at breakfast with no problem.”

“Only stayed one night but we were very happy with all the facilities and breakfast. Spacious room with small table and 2 easy chairs. Large shower with toiletries provided. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Will stay again when in the area.”

“Only stayed for the one night room was big enough couldn’t turn on the shower but wasn’t that bad as had the bath and I’m sure if I had called them I’m sure they would of come and sorted it out staff was amazing very friendly would definitely stay again”

“Excellent location near Lancaster, just off M6. Lovely pub, lovely breakfast too. Plenty of parking. Compact room, neat, tidy, good supplies. Comfortable bed. Tea & coffee makings & small kettle. Only issue was room was really hard to ventilate, so was very warm (good for winter tho!)”

“This is a luxurious feeling hotel and experience. We booked a king standard room for one night and we're given the opportunity to upgrade to an executive room. Absolutely no need to and glad we didn't! 10/10 for the stay and delicious breakfast with quality ingredients.”

“Stayed at the George Washington in room 6 on 15th July. Room very nice and clean with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer provided flatscreen tv and nice shower and towels. Had our evening meal here to very nice chicken madras and the homemade steak pudding washed down with some nice red wine. Very nice breakfast here full English very tasty and cooked to perfection well worth a stay at the Washington. Old school brewery just behind and the start of the Warton crag walk giving great...
