Room was clean and super comfortable. Needed an extra toilet paper roll and the housekeepers kindly delivered one to our room. Super close to the BART and a market plus other fast food areas. Parking was FREE and always available. Would definitely stay here again.

It's decent for the price per night. Bring your own soap and shampoo as the soaps are tiny and the shampoo is in an impossible to open little ketchup packet size. Other than that the location is fine as far as I can tell and room is clean I'm not terribly fond of the pillows which have chunks of foam for filling and it feels weird to sleep on them

This place was about convenience for us at a reasonable price. Our room was clean. This is a no frills hotel near the interstate. There was plenty of off street parking in a gated lot. However, anyone could walk through as we watched a few homeless walk through. Even so, it did not appear there were problems on the property with break ins. The free breakfast was pre packaged muffins and coffee. We needed ice however, the ice machine was broken. It is a no frills place to store your stuff and get some sleep.

Love it!!!!! Everything is clean, the beds don't make strange noises!!!! You sleep very well! And the best of all that in the middle of the night you wake up and it's quiet, you don't hear a single noise either in the streets or inside the Hotel!

Very decent, affordable place to stay in the area, close access to freeways, and with useful nearby businesses accessible by car. Not a great area for walking, especially at night. The room was basic, clean, sufficient. There is ample lit parking for guests, and hot coffee and breakfast snacks are served downstairs every morning. The staff are nice, and helpful.

The motel was okay, the only thing about this motel is that there is only one way in and one way out. The front desk person explained that the door at the back was emergency but that means everyone that stays at the back corner of this motel you would have to come all the way to the front to catch the elevator. Also that they only have hot water but where's the coffee or tea to go with it? This is saying it's a hotel to me I would say it's a motel. Also for the price its not adequate for this motel, another thing is the lamp that was in the room when I was trying to see what was wrong with the light, the plug was bent. The third floor where I was staying in the room looked nice and the beds needed to be upgraded. Thank you for this motel. I like to experience different motels & hotels.Checking in the front desk person was nice +10

Don’t expect much from this place. It’s a cheaper hotel. The pictures make it look nice, but they are deceiving. The place has been remodeled, but it wasn’t done fully or well. The place was safe and mostly clean. There were white stains on the couch and some kind of red smudge on the bathroom wall. The light fixture and bathroom door jam was covered in rust. Every single day, there were thick long black hairs on the bathroom floor from the cleaning woman. It is supposed to be a nonsmoking property, but it smelled of smoke and marijuana in the halls and stairwell during my weeklong stay. This definitely wasn’t an ideal place to stay, but it was acceptable at the price point.

Definitely getting what you paid for, BUT the housekeepers does a great job keeping the rooms clean and proving new towels/bedding every day. I left a tip for them just for taking care of me the week I was there.

Solid little hotel with an excellent value compared to other Berkeley properties at the same time of year. I was a bit taken aback at first by the strong smell of Fabuloso and the less than posh surroundings. But the room was very clean with updated flooring and bedding, The hotel is within reasonable walking distance to a Bart station, which made getting around very convenient. There is also free parking if you do have your own car. Nothing fancy - breakfast consisted of coffee, tea and packaged baked goods and soap/shampoo products were cheap quality. Definitely worth considering if you are traveling to the Berkeley/SF area on a budget.
