Beautiful property - from the moment we arrived and were given lemon water and a moment to stand and take in the view- to the second we left. A tranquil hotel that had an air of calm, nodded to its enchanting history but had every possible luxury needed. Staff kindly gave us a birthday cake for my partner’s birthday, little treats on the pillow each day, and there was impeccable service - from the restaurant and reception to the pool and shuttles to town. Worth eating in the Michelin-starred restaurant at least once. Can’t wait to return.

This is quite simply the most magnificent hotel I have ever stayed. The attention to detail of the rooms and the grounds are incredible. Everywhere you look is another amazing picture. The pool is divine, the view’s are sensational. The Michelin star restaurant is terrific, the casual dining is delicious, the supplied breakfast is heavenly. You will feel incredibly welcomed by the amazing staff who were so thoughtful and considerate. I cannot recommend the Monestro highly enough, do yourself the favor and stay here. It will change your life.

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful grounds. Michelin Restaurant was terrible... the food was flavourless and had extremely strange flavour combinations. Not sure how they got a michelin star as we have eaten at many fine dining restaurants and this is not it.

Perfect stay

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The attention to detail was amazing! The service and the grounds were impeccable. We we upgraded to a lovely corner suite. My only complaint would be the lobster roll at the pool restaurant- it was coleslaw on a bun. And the heated pool could have been a few degrees higher. But other than that, it was truly a perfect stay!!!!

The Monastero Sant Rosa is perched high above Conca Dei Marini with a spectacular 180 degree view across the ocean towards the coat of Salerno. It's an amazing old property maintaining much of its history and artefacts. Beneath the historic fabric of this building lies a very well designed hotel and spa that feels almost freshly renovated - the facilities are excellent. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The staff are very friendly, efficient and confident. We especially liked the front of house in their restaurant, Il Refettorio who made eating there a real pleasure. Food & wine was excellent - the chef takes time to visit each table and delivers an excellent meal. The spa is very good. It's worth spending an hour in the spa itself then taking a massage or treatment in what is a very relaxing environment. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at the Monastero and would highly recommend the hotel.
