The location of this hotel is not ideal. As soon as you get off of the highway, you can see a homeless encampment behind an abandoned building. Hilton has tried to fence around the building but there’s no denying this is a rough neighborhood. Even upon check in you are asked to sign a waiver, waiving theft or damage to your vehicle as not the hotels responsibility. Upon check in, I could hear the smoke alarm going off with a dead battery beep. We checked for bed bugs before decided if we would stay or not. Thankfully the room was pretty clean. The elevator was broken. There was mold on the cinnamon rolls in the morning. I’m fairly certain i witnessed a homeless man walk in and help himself to the breakfast. Our shampoo and body wash were empty and the replacements were plastic cups full. The staff were nice and accommodating. That’s about all the place had going for it.
