The staff at the Columbus Inn were really friendly and helpful. While the room met our needs, it appeared to be in need of some repairs. The toilet paper rack was coming loose from the wall. The hairdryer wouldn't turn on and was in need of cleaning. The TV and A/C worked fine, so we were thankful for those things. Overall, an adequate room with convenient entrance/exits to the parking lot. People were friendly, but our room needed some attention.

Was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of my room. You can tell the owners take pride in their property and care about their guests. Will definitely return. Such a refreshing change from my recent experience with a “chain” hotel. Glad to be able to patronize an independent and support a local business. Also had an actual breakfast that was welcome and delicious.
