The hotel is located in the best area for walking around and only a block from USC campus. We parked at their free parking lot and walked everywhere we needed to go. Small breakfast buffet style in the morning was a great plus before hitting the road again.

The stay is always the best when we come to town. Great area for walking. Quiet neighborhood. The staff is incredible. From the greetings of Eric ,Kaneshia and Destiny daily were enough to know that they are great workers and enjoy the job. They all went above and beyond for our daughter’s 11th birthday.

Room was clean, space and complimentary waters and popcorn were given during check in which was a nice touch. Area was nice but did have a few homeless people nearby which is expected in downtown but it did not affect my stay. Breakfast was as expected. Overall it was a good stay and the indoor pool was convenient during colder stays.

The staff was exceptionally courteous and did everything they could to improve our stay. However, we had to wait almost an hour past our check in time before a clean room became available. Once we were in our room, it was clear that the housekeeping staff had been in a hurry as the bathroom had been cleaned but not well (debris from previous guests on floor, hair in bathtub). On top of that, the fan on the ac/heat unit was so noisy that we had to turn the entire unit off at the breaker. Maybe the hotel was slammed at the last minute and miscalculated the need for staff but overall, it was disappointing.
