We stayed for family weekend & our room smelled like stale smoke. I called down to the front desk as soon as we got into our room & they said they were aware of the smell in the room but being family weekend no other rooms were available. Just doesn’t seem right especially when you’re paying 3 times the normal rate because it’s family weekend. The one upside was the friendly staff at the bar & restaurant. When I come back to Mizzou won’t stay here.

It was amazing hotel to stay at. We loved our room with the bathtub and was able to relax and watch tv while relaxing in the tub. It was in the perfect location as well we were within 15 mins of everything.

Our go to hotel in Columbia, MO

Visiting Columbia for granddaughter’s college graduation from University of Missouri and her commissioning ceremony into the US Army. Room was clean, and quiet. Staff were wonderful!! Helpful, and accommodating. We’ve stayed here for several visits to Columbia and will continue to do so. Thank you!! 😊

Lovely weekend to stay

Stayed this past weekend for sporting event. Hotel was very nice. The location was perfect to commute to University of Missouri. Plenty of restaurants and shopping to choose from. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel was fine except for one dinner where 1/2 of my hamburger was raw. It was so late, I was extremely tired to ask for it to be put back on the grill. Indoor pool was not ready for guest because it was so green you could only see 2 steps. Hot tub was closed due to repairs. The room was very nice & clean. The beds were very comfortable. I’m definitely going to stay here again. Be sure to check different hotel apps for best rate to stay.

We selected this hotel for our stay when attending a MIZZOU football game specifically because it was on the stadium bus route. It's so nice to be picked up in front of the hotel, dropped off at the main entrance to the stadium, and returned to the hotel - no parking hassles, no fighting traffic! Just relax and enjoy being chauffeured to and from the game. We also chose it because we like the Hilton Garden Inns; clean, modern, and excellent amenities and service. This was no exception: spacious room, very comfy bed with great pillows, and ample room for clothing both hanging and folded. Bonus was the assortment of snacks and drinks found in the room on our arrival that were included in the cost of the room -- especially appreciated when we got back so late after the game and had the munchies! We also took advantage of the foodstuffs available in the hotel "store" that included salads and sandwiches, again great for satisfying postgame hunger when it's too late to go out. There is also a restaurant on site, and we took advantage of it for breakfast ($$); the buffet is the usual standard fare, however, it offers made to order eggs, omelets, and meats rather than the typical instant eggs found in most hotels -- the omelets were great! All in all, this Hilton Garden is a great choice for any stay in Columbia, but if you're coming for a football game, its the best choice for service, comfort, and amenities. We plan to make it our go-to hotel when in town!
