Vacations Close To Columbia Athenaeum

When we arrived there was no shower curtain on the shower or linens for the pull out bed. The gentleman at the counter was helpful and apologetic. We noticed dirty marks on the light switch and headboard that looked like chocolate but not sure what it was, I decided to clean it on my own. The AC was not cooling the third day so I mentioned it to the lady at the desk she said okay. The room temperature got progressively warmer but nobody came to fix it. Eventually water began to leak from our ceiling so I called again and this time they sent maintenance. The maintenance man said this was the first he heard about the room temperature. After the room temperature rising to 85 degrees I asked that we be moved. I was told give it a few hours to see if they could fix it, extremely frustrating and inconvenient. We left the room because it was way too uncomfortable. We later got a text saying that they could not fix the AC and moved us rooms. No apologies no offer to send a cart up to assist with moving our stuff from that hot room. It was excuse after excuse recuse- new cleaners l- new managers but all we wanted was an apology.

Great location. Incredible vibe. Special gift shop with discount for guests. If you like beautiful and historic architecture this is for you.

Very big bathroom, restaurant and bar downstairs. Very close to broadway and printers alley.

Great stay! Walking distance to broadway and Nissan stadium.
