This is the best located hotel in Colonia. It’s a few minute’s walk from the historic town. There are many dining and drink options in the immediate area. The hotel restaurant is very good. The pool is great. Staff are very friendly

Overall our stay was good. The rooms are not very sound proof so the hall noise was very loud. But the room was clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating with our limited spanish. The area is great for walking and I would stay here again!

Beautiful location but dine out

Absolutely beautiful location, our room had view over the water heated indoor pool ( it was winter time so we didn’t try the outdoor infinity pool that overlooks the river) very comfortable room, bed and we each booked 60 minute massages at the hotel fitness area one of the best we’ve ever had . The only disappointment was the food and service was hit & miss- some were absolutely fantastic others not very good - could be language barrier? As very few spoke English & while my Spanish was fine in Montevideo - I really struggled with some of the restaurant staff who spoke really quickly and their dialect was harder to understand.

The people who work here are outstanding. They were so friendly and nice. The room was spacious but the beds and bedding are the best!! The bed was so clean and soft. I have 4 pillows and slept perfectly with the windows open with fresh sea air.

At first glance, this place looks wonderful. The room was nice, the walls had numerous small paint chips. The ceiling was repaired at some time and poorly repainted. We had a sliding door handle almost tear off and that was quickly repaired but when we had trouble getting the tv to work we were told someone would come that never did. Additional calls were ignored. Just telling us no one was there would have been appreciated. This was the only time we were in Uruguay that people did not go above and beyond.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of all the must-see spots in Colonia, including a convenient walk from the port. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed both the outdoor infinity pool and the heated indoor pool, along with the hot tub and dry sauna—such a perfect way to relax. We booked a corner suite, which offered stunning ocean views and a gorgeous sunset each evening. Sleeping with the sliding doors open was a highlight—cool, gentle ocean breezes, complete quiet, and no bugs made for an incredibly peaceful night. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience.
