The selection for their morning breakfast buffet is very varied. The staff is busy during rush hour; they seem overwhelmed at times. Their housekeeping standards cannot match those of their properties in Hong Kong or mainland China. The Chinese restaurant Shang Gong is one of the best in the country, and its staff is very attentive and courteous.

Probably, if not the best hotel in Colombo. I was assigned to a room that faces the sea as well as Biera Lake. The hotel, which is also accessible through one of the largest mall is a huge bonus. Such a great hotel, such great food and the service was excellent! Pasan was great providing us with copious chai, non stop requests and was great all round, Eranda was excellent too. I wish I remembered everyone’s name, but would recommend the stay for their service alone - couldn’t do enough for us. Great breakfast, loved the pettah tea! Excellent location. Nice rooms, great spa, friendly service. Will definitely stay again.
