Great Place, clean and modern. Well located with plenty of stores at walking distance. The only thing that we did not like is that had NO AC, only heater. We had to sleep with the window open.

We had an enjoyable stay. A bit noisy in the morning as we must have been next to a service door… but overall it was a great place at a red price. The check in manager was very nice and the checkin process was super easy.

My favourite hotel in Cologne

I have stayed at Motel One Cologne Neumarkt several times and it is now my first choice when looking for somewhere to stay in Cologne. The hotel is modern, beautifully furnished, always immaculately clean and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful.

Overall I'm very pleased with our stay in the motel one in neumarket. The location is great, the bar was great. If I was to say one negative the room could have been a touch bigger but it was still comfortable.

Good location. About a 15 min walk or 6 min drive from the cathedral and very central to all shopping and dining. Not too close to all the craziness but not so fae that you can easily walk everywhere.

When I come to Cologne for business, I always stay in the Neumarkrt area for it's great centralized location for transit, shopping and restaurants. The rooms are nice, compact, but sufficient for the required purpose.

The hotel is nice and what you would expect. The location is great and very easy to get to and to other places around the city. My only issue was the WiFi was terrible and almost non-existant in my room, making it very difficult to work.

Modern hotel in a convenient location. Nice bar area that was open late. About 15 minutes walk from the cathedral/station with lots of shops nearby. Good size room although bed almost seemed a bit small for the room.

Staff are brilliant. Could not fault them! Great atmosphere in the bar, great location. Facilities are basic but ok. Had a great nights sleep despite our room being right next to the lifts. Only thing I would change is that the hand soap and shower gel in our room were half full which gave the impression that someone else had used them.

Christmas markets stay

A nice, clean and comfortable stay with friendly staff who let us check in early, store our bags, etc. The only down sides I’d say are: - The rooms are a bit on the small side and lack storage for things like clothes, toiletries, etc so felt we were living out of our suitcases a bit. - Also, there were some early morning deliveries/ bin collections that woke us up at around 6am but these things happen. Good for the price though.

Not a great experience!

Had a terrible nights sleep. Awoken very early by delivery men. I didn't realise but our room on the 1st floor was over a the street that services the shops. Deliveries, bin collections. Breakfast was a free-for-all. The hotel put up a sign advising tof the busiest times, but I wasn't expecting the chaos of breakfast time.
