Room was nice, and check in was smooth. I like that filtered water was available with refillable bottles able to be taken to rooms. Breakfast was a little disappointing with the scrambled eggs being overcooked on both days. Overall satisfactory for where i needed to go to during the trip

Brilliant Stay

This hotel saved our trip to Cologne. After an awful stay elsewhere the night before, we were able to get a late booking. Our apartment was spacious and cool - in the oppressive heat outside - clean and well equipped with its own small kitchen area and a nice bathroom. The breakfasts were amazing and the pool was nice to use as well, if a little on the cool side.

Central location Clean and tidy rooms Safe and clean neighbourhood Late night walks around area safe and recommended Limited breakfast options for vegetarian people. A lot of dairy and meat products and bacon spilling into eggs etc so we were very careful.

Peaceful location, 15 mins walk from station

Stayed 3 nights, easy check in but rooms not ready till 3pm, cam back for my bag a lot later on. No fridge, no safe and no wifi, without these I would only rate it a 3 star. Very comfy and very clean. 15 mins to the Dom or main station. Quite peaceful location too and I definitely recommend it.

Nice hotel. 20 min walk to centre or s couple of stops on yhe underground. Aircon in room not good enough to cool room in hot weather. Could open windows but then get infested by bugs

I actually liked all the staff but I was a bit upset at check out when they tried to make me pay the city tax again. I’d already paid with a different person in cash on check in but this person seems not to have recorded the fact and I had no receipt. It was very embarrassing to have a row with the other receptionist with a large queue of people behind me. I stay in many different hotels in Germany, often in Köln. This is the first time this has happened and to be honest I was made to feel like I was lying. My 9 year old son was next to me and I really don’t need to be undermined in front of him. All staff, including the receptionist I was arguing were nice but I probably won’t stay there again, it’s put me off.

Bâtiment ancien et très vieux. À ma surprise séparé du bâtiment principal (ce n ai pas clairement mentionné ) on doit sortir dans la rue pour allez au petit dej et faire le Check out. Pas de possibilité de black-out car les rideaux sont détachées sur les extrémités qui fait rentrer beaucoup de lumières. Travaux très bruyants à proximité immédiate de l hôtel. Lit confortable. En résumé Très cher pour le service rendu. Il y a mieux et beaucoup moins cher.
