Fantastic hotel. Beautiful room, all recently refurbished. Excellent location. Spotlessly clean. Hotel reception staff were all wonderful - so helpful. Cleaning staff wonderful. Absolutely loved it. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cologne.

The hotel was perfect. Great location right in the center of the old town with lots of food options near by and a block or so from the River. Room was simple, but very clean. Bed was very comfortable and the area was quiet.

Great stay. Continently located within Köln, with easy access to the kölner Dom, museums, shopping centre and train station. Room was in good condition with clean facilities and a nice baloney. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Christmas Market Central

Great location if you're there to enjoy the Christmas markets. Easily walkable to a few different markets. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is well kept and in good condition but please note, there is no lift.

Great Hotel in Cologne

Great hotel in Cologne Alstadt. Clean, quiet and friendly staff. IMO, I would call this a “smart” hotel. Check in kiosk online, menu in restaurant online and TV requires use of your own apps. For us, it was no problem but this may bother other people.

Location location

Great little place, right in the centre of the action. Only gripe was no air con & it was quite a warm couple of nights. The fans were certainly needed. Great little cafe for breakfast downstairs too

Lovely stay

Lovely small hotel in excellent location in the old town. Easy walk from train station and too all sights. Cafe attached is lovely for breakfast. Staff were all lovely and spoke English.

Excellent location. Off Main Street but still life around. Only gave it a 4 for service because reception isn't there 24/7. They have excellent systems around that though. I wouldn't look anywhere else and would book again. One small note, no elevator if that is necessary for you. This isn't unlike most small older building hotels. Perfect for me.

A location to feel the energy of Koln

A great location if you want to feel the energy of Koln. The room was small but efficient and the shape of the windows -let you look outside - to see the world go by... The room had a solid breakfast - that you could even enjoy outside. The one challenge is that it does not have air-conditioning- it did have a fan - which made a huge difference but I would not stay here again in the summer. I would stay here again - in fall, winter or spring.

Nice location but avoid 5th floor

Nice little hotel, but if you are not an Olympic athlete avoid the rooms on 5th floor. There’s no lift and they are apartments with another flight of stairs

No staff at check in (public holiday). Used self check in machine and it wanted me to pay again. Then machine malfunctioned. Tried Whatsapp phone number. Not working. Sent email. No reply. Finally cleaner came. Called someone and got me into my room. I had visions of spending the night on little couch in lobby.

The hotel is in the middle of the centre, right next to the beautiful Sint Martinus Kerk and the Rheingarten, while also within walking distance of the Kölner Dom. I had a single person room, but i was really suprised by the size of the room. The bed was a twin bed (even though the blanket was not), and the bathroom was also a decent size (even though the door and the shower were smaller than average). the little French balcony was a nice suprise as well. There is, however, no lift in the building. While this wasn't an issue for me, it might be difficult if you have mobility issues or a lot of heavier luggage, so that's something to take into account

Tolles Hotel und sehr zentral in der Innenstadt. Check-In und Check-out lief einfach. Zimmer war sauber, Bett sehr bequem - eine Sitzmöglichkeit auf dem Balkon wäre super gewesen und der Druck in der Dusche war relativ gering. Für gehschwache Personen ist die Unterkunft ohne Aufzug eher nicht so gut geeignet. Alles in allem würde ich aber wiederkommen.
