This place is super convenient - I don't think I've ever popped into my room so much for this and that while being a tourist. It is, however, not somewhere to enjoy being for its own sake. It is...serviceable.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, no view whatsoever. Location close to Köln Cathedral, restaurants, and shopping. Older budget hotel was good for a night in Köln.

I wanted to stay in the centre of the city and despite a high number of tourists around I found it surprisingly quiet. With well fitted windows the noise was easily kept at bay over night.

Overall, not a terrible place to stay for a few nights. It's a bit noisy outside with the cathedral bells in the mornings and people walking around at night, but the location is super convenient since it is right next to the train station and the Cologne Cathedral. Rooms were pretty spacious and clean.

Great location, 3 blocks away from Koln Hauptbahnhof and Cathedral. It’s an old hotel and it’s not renovated, however bed and bath were clean, at least for me cleanliness and location is all that matter in a hotel where you are only sleeping and showering.

It is directly opposite to the WDR Funkhaus where I needed to be. And Maria at reception was very kind to give me a quieter room.

Property was in an excellent location, and in walking distance to most of the sights and transport facilities. I had booked to see a concert at the WDR studios, which was right next door. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

The hotel is not new but our room had been redone and was perfectly fine. The rate is really good for the location. Obviously being close to the cathedral means front row seat for the bell ringing ;-). So if you enjoy a lie-in, it's probably better to choose an hotel further away. The area around the hotel is great, lively with lots of options to eat.
