The hotel is very modern but also chic as the art branding implies. The location is great - it is not in the centre but right on the river so easy to find. The breakfast is a particular highlight including an outside terrace. I have stayed here before and will continue to do so in future

Lovely hotel with secure under ground parking. Friendly helpful staff. Room was spacious with a great bed. We loved the art work wall in the bathroom. Only downside was the bar and restaurant were closed (apparently due to staff sickness). However there was a lovely open air bar a few metres away, right by the canal.

Great staff. Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing some major work to the lobby, bar and restaurant areas along with fitting new carpets in the hallways. It’s a good hotel and we will be back but as a small hotel, work in communal areas have a big knock on impact on our enjoyment of the hotel.

The outside of the hotel looked scruffy. Weeds growing and windows were quite dirty. The skirting boards were all ripped off down the corridor we had to walk down to get to our room. The staff were helpful and polite especially the very smiley lady who was always on for breakfast. Breakfast was good. A wide variety of food. Bacon, sausage and mushrooms, eggs scrambled, fried and hard boiled. Cereals, pastries, bread and rolls. Continental, meats, cheese and pate. Fruit and yogurts. Pancakes. Fruit juices, orange, apple, multivitamin (tropical) and grapefruit. Coffee machine. Decaf instant in sachets. Tea, breakfast and selection of fruit teas also. There is quite a lot of noise as the hotel is near railways tracks and a road. Trains going by frequently are noisy as are the emergency vehicles. Good storage space in our corner room. Beds were hard and uncomfortable especially after walking all day. The small bar and reception areas were clean and tidy but overall I would say the hotel bedroom areas are a bit tired and in need of some renovation.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Cologne and I'd recommend it. It was walkable from Cologne Central Station. The room was lovely with a large shower. YouTube was available on the TV. I loved the art in the room, especially the mural on the shower. Overall, great stay in Cologne. I'd stay here again.

I liked the location of the hotel. Most attractions can be reached on foot from the hotel. It’s right on the Rhine too, which was lovely to look out onto every day.
