Good stay

The staff was very courteous and friendly. The breakfast needs work, not much of a choice. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean but had a musty smell. Overall my stay was good and would stay again.

The property is very dated with very few cosmetic updates. The bed was very uncomfortable. The air conditioner malfunctioned, however the staff promptly came and made the necessary repair. The bathroom was not clean. The shower and shower head were filthy and the housekeeper failed to clean my room and replace the towels. When I asked for new towels, the front desk attendant proceeded to give me clean towels with the dirtiest hands I’ve seen. Imagine your car mechanic giving you clean towels! I complained and let me pick my own towels after changing your oil. I will never stay there again. I suggest you stay in Laurel or Hattiesburg if you have affairs in Collins.

Sheets were dirty with hair on them, bathroom had soap scum all over the counter with toothpaste on the mirror, hair in the shower toilet was dirty and the seat was broken. Whole facility smells of cigarettes. Clerk who checked me in was kind.

The hotel appeared to be going through an ownership change. It was in desperate need of updating. The lighting in the room was awful; the room was dark even with all of the lights that worked turned on. It had the vibe of an old run-down place in a mystery movie.

I stayed just one night so it was ok. I don’t remember ever staying at any motel that didn’t have facial tissue or even sugar or creamer for the coffee. There was only one bath towel and only a partial roll of tioilet paper. Very minimalistic but clean enough and the desk clerk was friendly.
