Room on 2nd floor was comfortable and quiet. Check in and check out were fast and easy. Breakfast was simple, but well prepared and fresh. Only things that kept me from giving it 5 stars was; our bathroom door wouldn’t close, the location of the AC vent blowed towards the door, so freezing there, but set to 62 to get the rest of the room cool and H Bar was not open in the evenings while we were there. All said, we would still stay again, I think it was a good value for the $$.

We were very disappointed with our experience at Hyatt Place College Station. We booked our room through Expedia in July for August 21–22. After a long day of moving our daughter into her dorm, we arrived around 10 PM, only to be told that the hotel could not find our reservation. We showed the receptionist our Expedia confirmation and had to wait while the issue was sorted out. While we were waiting, more than 10 other guests were checked in ahead of us. After more than 30 minutes, we were finally given a room, but were told that it had not been prepared. The receptionist herself had to go and prepare the room because, as she explained, housekeeping had not done so. When we finally went to the room, the key cards did not work, requiring another trip to the front desk. The room was also not properly made, and the bathroom cleanliness was below expectations. We understand that this was a very busy Texas A&M move-in weekend and that the hotel staff was likely under significant pressure. We appreciate the receptionist taking the initiative to get our room ready. However, the combination of the reservation issue, extended wait, room not being ready, faulty key cards, and cleanliness issues caused considerable inconvenience after an already long day. We submitted above to the hotel via expedia and never heard back. We hope the hotel can use this feedback to improve coordination between reservations, housekeeping, and the front desk, especially during busy periods.
