It's pet friendly. And the penny restaurant in front let you bring your pet in....I really enjoyed the stay in booking ahead for next year.

It shows some wear and tear but overall clean. Signage is difficult to see from the highway and I nearly missed it.

Good Stay

The attendants that checked me in and out were very friendly. There was a minor mishap with my original room and it was switched right away, and she assured me that it was ok. The quietness was the absolute best. I’ll stay again when I visit.

We had an unexpected last minute change and the hotel didnt have to but accommodated the changes which we greatly appreciated. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We would stay here again if we are back in the area.

Hotel.com should give option

After being assigned a 2nd floor, we were unable to climb the steps. Upon requesting a 1st floor room Jonathan, who was amazing and accommodated our request. I then joined Wyndams rewards program after learning i could have requested floor prefernce. In addition i booked a king room but in order to get first floor they onlu offered queen size. The hotel was not able to reimburse differnce because it was booked threw third party, Hotels.com. Our stay was pleasant, rooms were very clean and Jonathan did an outstanding job accommodating our needs.

No AC working

The stay at the hotel could not be completed. The ac unit that serves the room was out of service. In the hot summer of Texas, we didn’t have ac in our room. This huge inconvenient prevent us from staying at the property.

No frills

An older hotel that seems to have had a recent remodel. Nothing physically wrong with the properties just your basic no-frills side of the road motel. Good for a nice stay. Could use some basic improvements to make it more comfortable. Only thing really irritating is in the listing. There is a picture of the diner outside the property… This diner has nothing to do with the property. No breakfast is offered so you can hit the diner or the McDonald’s. At the price paid, there should have been breakfast for a voucher to the diner

Property needs updating, had I known there was a fairly new Holiday Inn nearby I would have rather had stayed there. The staff was great, but the hotel in general needs an overhaul. There was no dresser in the room, no toiletries offered, you can tell this is a place where all the out of town workers stay and it shows.

Mixed reviews about this trip: they messed up billing, and it took all week to straighten it out, but they did so. Having to go in even the last morning, though, was inconvenient. The people were super nice, but their accounting department having to get involved stunk. Hotel is quiet (even with highway and in a railroad town) so soundproofing good, and real black-out curtains. Housekeeping has to be asked for, and is very inconsistent. My room was near an entrance, and the cigarette smell is awful. Air conditioning was good, bed was better than average, and water pressure and hot water good.
