The room was very clean, and did not smell/no weird odor. We chose to stay here because of the old school vibe but yet updated-ish. Im honestly quite a hotel snob, but I feel like for the low cost of this room for the night, it was pretty great stay in a super cute and quiet Kansas town! The check-in took awhile but the receptionist had only been working a couple of days, so wasn't familiar with an Expedia pre-paid reservations. She was very nice though and I think will learn quickly. The room was nice, except the heater fan was quite loud. The bed was VERY comfortable and had a nice comforter for a cold night. There were several interesting things to see in Oakley. I'd stay here again.

This was a clean, nice room that fulfilled our needs. We were just traveling through and found the spot to be great. The building is older, but the bed was good, the sheets were nice, and the room was clean. The room was quiet, which was nice, too. If you can, go see Monument Rocks—such unexpected coolness in the midst of flat Kansas.

The room was fine (good TV) but small. Microwave and who is this fridge. The staff was courteous. It's truly okay, nothing special. You need to expect a kind of retro feel--for example, it might help to know that if you remember who "Annie Oakley" was you might also be where attracted by "direct dial phones" and "color TV," as the sign outside advertises.

Old motel but surprisingly very clean and cute. Do not plan on a luxurious stay but do count on a very clean room and bathroom, comfy beds, quiet and safe area, ice machine, laundry room with Maytag washers and dryers. The owners seem to be hard working people who are providing a much needed service in a small town. We had some good rest for our two day visit. The TV is not a smart TV but had some good channels to watch movies and sports.
