We stayed in this beautiful place in July and were amazed how clean and beautiful this place is. Breakfast was served in the cute baskets and it was delicious. Lady who works at front was so friendly and nice. We are definitely coming back and we would recommend this place from our heart….Irena and Pred with kids

We really enjoyed our stay at Solar Antigo! The staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel is in a central location, being both close to the university and close to the city center. The rooms were nicely designed, albeit not the best when it comes to functionality. The shower is right beside the bed, and since it’s see through you can always see the toilet. It’s not great when it comes to privacy in that regard. Beyond that, however, this was a great property, and we’d stay again!

Our Room was luxurious. Staff extremely helpful. Very nice breakfast. A little hard to find. I dont recommend to use Rua dos Apostolos because very steep and narrow road. Go by way of Rua Padre Antonio Vieria which is a main road and intersects Rua dos Apostolos. Parking is on the street right nearby if you are lucky.

Great boutique hotel !

Magical stay at this hidden gem in Coimbra. Very close to the university campus and sights to see there. At the top of a steep hill from the river and pedestrian streets. Wish we had stayed longer!

Property is located in the old part of the city which can be charming. However, it is near the university and the students are young people who party very loud, particularly on Tuesday nights and Thursday nights when they don’t have class the next day.
