Loved our stay here for one evening. As someone who’s worked in historical hotels this was such a treat to see the wonderful mess of historic and modern hospitality.
Fresh flowers in each room and wonderful toiletries and linens. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Gorgeous property right downtown makes the stay so convenient.
Very convenient located in the centre of Cody within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff very polite and helpful. Walking distance to the Buffalo Bill museum which was fantastic and within 3 miles of the Cody Rodeo which is another must if you are visiting Cody.
Historic and charming stay. Loved the atmosphere. Friendly staff. Only downside is that because of the age of the facilities, it can be somewhat difficult if you are a larger person. The shower and toilet space was very small.
The staff were very kind and helpful! I enjoyed some pizza and a drink at the cocktail bar and even got a chance to use the complimentary gym across the street. Overall, had great stay in a hotel full of character!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The spirit of Cody lives at the Chamberlin.
The 3 Cs cozy, comfy and central and the place to be when visiting Yellowstone. You may even be lucky enough to catch a yoga class in the garden or have a drink with the dashing proprietor Mike Dailey, his life seemingly modeled on the quientissential American novelist Ernest Hemingway who spent time here. Its really where you want to base yourself on your visit to Cody, Wyoming.
The Chamberlain was very charming. The rooms were comfortable, and the outdoor gardens we’re so inviting we sat outside for most of the evening, enjoying wine and charcuterie
This has easily been my favorite stay in the past decade- the manager was more than welcoming and the property itself is beyond beautiful. Read a book in the garden or enjoy live music (some nights) at the beautiful conservatory and bar room. More than worth booking if you’re coming to the area, I couldn’t see a single reason to regret this Inn above other local accommodations
.
Very quaint historic hotel in Downtown Cody. The Staff was phenomenal and the rooms and property were lovely. Great drinks and live music made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again.
The Chamberlin Inn is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we stepped inside, we were wrapped in its historic charm and boutique elegance. Every detail feels carefully curated—from the vintage decor to the welcoming ambiance.
What really stole my heart was the solarium. It’s the perfect spot to unwind with a good book or a glass of wine. Peaceful, full of natural light, and so thoughtfully styled—like a little sanctuary right in the heart of Cody.
If you’re looking for something more unique and personal than your average hotel chain, this is it. Cozy, classy, and absolutely worth the stay.
Great customer service, very charming with a nice garden. Very loud in the morning as my room was right next to the alley. Garbage trucks and other vehicles making lots of noise.
The historical aspect of this hotel is wonderful. It has been kept up, restored and presented to perfection. The staff were helpful and kind. Having the bar and comfy sitting areas right there was nice. Lovely space to enjoy a cocktail and breakfast.
