Pretty blonde at the front desk was very friendly and got us checked in just in time for us to make the Cody cattle company dinner show. She is a gem. The property is clean and quiet and we enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy and it was nice to have a refrigerator to store our leftovers and a microwave to warm them up for a late night snack. We plan to stay again at the Big Bear Motel!

Near the rodeo arena so not so convenient for walking around town. Great if going to rodeo and headed to east Yellowstone entrance. Check in was great and staff super nice and efficient. I give 3 stars solely on condition of my pet room. Room is quite outdated but i would not hesitate to stay here for a night or 2. Outside and amenities are good.

I was pleasantly surprised how clean the rooms and grounds were. I am very picky about where u stay and I would 100% stay there again. We were only there one night but everything was very clean, the beds aren’t the most comfortable but I’ve had worse. The lady that checked us is was very nice and informative about restaurants in the area.

If you are looking for a simple , clean and friendly hotel , then this is the place for you. They are dog friendly. Staying here it’s a great location from Yellowstone only 1 Hour Drive . Housekeeping changes out the towels , makes the bed and leaves toilet paper. I find this enjoyable as I travel with my dog . Staff is very friendly, very accommodating. Great place to stay. Will come back again.

We stayed at the Big Bear Motel on our way to Yellowstone. This motel is a gem in the rough. It was not like your big hotel chains as you had the feeling of being in a western setting. The views from this location were breathtaking. It is a 1 minute drive to the Cody Wyoming rodeo which is a must. In the evening they have horse drawn carriage rides for free which was very enjoyable. The outdoor pool was very clean and the views from the pool were amazing. The rooms were a bit outdated but very comfortable. There is a Walmart 10 minutes away. If you want a western fell, I highly recommend this motel.
