Walls are thin and you hear everything. Parking can be difficult if you’re in the front buildings. Beach is behind the 700 building. Nice pool and several sitting areas. Water pressure is excellent. Beds are comfortable. Tiki bar has slow service only 1 person working. Room is basically clean but still some sand on the floors. I’d stay again.

I enjoyed the room, it was exactly what i needed for our stay. However, i would ask the resort to add more hooks to the bathroom and behind the bedroom doors to hang towels or other items. The bed sheets were not soft at all and if possible, would be a nice upgrade. I would stay here again, the pool area was great!

Excellent property to go too. Lazy river was night and the staff at the front desk was amazing. Very close to the beach with many restaurants and shops to walk too. Even saw Space X launch a rocket from this location. Perfect spot for a great price. Recommend especially if you're bring Children.

We were given a room directly in front of the pool and bar and had to listen to everyone partying and playing corn hole with wooden bangs over and over throughout the evening. We had plans for sunrises and family time on our vacation and it wasn’t ideal to be up late listening to drunk guests yell and party all night. The resort also tried really hard to sell a time share package, which made the experience feel awkward. The food was beyond terrible and really expensive to be as terrible as it was. Best thing about the resort is that it’s in a great location.

Came down for spring break as a solo mom with two kids ages 9 and 7. We originally booked the Beachside Hotel and upon checking we immediately checked out and got a last minute room at Westgate for 4 nights. The front desk crew was super welcoming to us (thanks Ro and Amy) and when we got to our super clean suite with big comfy beds we were so relieved! The next day the resort looked even better in the daylight. The beach spot is fantastic, you can rent chairs and umbrellas and boogie boards each day (but get there not too long after 9am they do sell out). My kids spent hours boogie boarding at the beach and it was never too crowded. We would bop back over to Westgate’s pool, lazy river, and splash pad and have lunch from the tiki bar (hi Mikayla!! Our awesome server all week). My only suggestions are that they provide more toiletries (body lotion and bigger or more bottles of shampoo & conditioner). I also had to call and press to get the room cleaned on day 2, that was a little unclear (housekeeping). They did provide plenty of fresh clean towels for bathrooms and pool when we would call down they would quickly come up and switch them out. I was bummed we couldn’t get a room with a view, the room we got faced the busy road, however, with the bathrooms tucked in the back of the room it was super quiet. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the resort - both the rooms and common spaces and the pool and water play areas. We felt very safe and taken care of!

Sue behind the bar was amazing. Hotel is a little dated and could use a new external color scheme. Rooms were modernized and mostly clean (sofa needs vacuumed) We had a great time and made use of all the pool areas and took advantage of happy hour every day. It is a bit of a walk from the main part of the resort to the beach so keep that in mind. Great place for family relaxing
