“This is a great place to stay with access to great fell walks right on the doorstep of the hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. The only complaint we had was ordering food for dinner was chaotic... Long queues of around 20 minutes to order at a single till! A problem that could easily be solved if they offered table service.”

“Food was cooked to order and every meal was so good. There was plenty of choice and there was no problem when I asked for salad instead of chips. The plates were full of good tasty food. The bed was so comfortable that we slept through the nights.”
