“Good location in lovely Criccieth, but in need of - and actually receiving even during breakfast (!) - some further updating. This meant that the evening restaurant area was temporarily located in the rather dingy, small and unwelcoming bar area which meant we didn't try it even though the menu looked quite attractive. The breakfast area was also in need of updating - quite utilitarian and brown - and the buffet breakfast itself was OK, but not as good as we've experienced elsewhere. Our...

“We wish we could have stayed longer! We arrived late at night after our travel plans were delayed and Jan was so kind and accommodating and stayed up late to make sure we checked in. She even upgraded our room and offered us refreshments. The whole building is charming, with tasteful decor. The room itself (and bathroom) felt quite luxurious, were very clean with all amenities as advertised. Our only regret is that we only stayed the one night and couldn’t be there longer. “Plenty of room for parking, breakfast was fantastic. Pauline was a lovely lady and very helpfull. We had a free standing mirror on a shelf in the bathroom which was quite heavy. I think it should be secured better as could be easily disturbed by a young child which could be quite dangerous. Would definitely go back again.”

“Friendly staff, lovely breakfast”

The shower walls also had mold on them. On top of that, the room...
