Vacations Close To King's Creek Country Club

I was very disappointed with my stay. I want to be clear that I have nothing against anyone who may be living at the hotel due to their personal circumstances. However, when paying to stay somewhere for a vacation, I expect more of a traditional hotel environment and experience. The condition and cleanliness of the room were not up to par, especially for the amount of money charged. There was mildew on the curtains, and overall, the room did not feel properly cleaned or maintained. The hotel advertises smoke-free rooms, but there was frequent smoking by staff outside the building. Although the smoking wasn’t taking place inside the rooms, the smell of smoke was still noticeable when entering the hotel. I will say that the dining area was very clean and well kept, and I give them credit for that. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations.

The bathroom smelled like clothes left in the wash too long. The floor wasn't clean and I almost ran out of toilet paper the first day because they left essentially nothing on the roll and no replacement. The body wash was empty the entire tine, they didn't even check it. This hotel is a 3 star at best.
