Very comfortable room. Helpful and courteous staff. We enjoyed riding the 98 year old elevator. The Christmas decorations added holiday spirit to our stay.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. When the service staff had not cleaned our room because we put the door tag on too late, the supervisor nonetheless extended herself by getting us fresh towels. It’s a great welcoming experience here.

Worth the trip

A beautiful and tranquil place to stay with lots to do between Tuesday and Saturday. Most places nearby are closed Sunday and Monday

We were in town for the State Fair and stayed for a few days. The hotel staff were all very nice and welcoming. The hotel itself was gorgeous with a wonderful history (shared by the staff). There was an onsite restaurant, bar and complimentary breakfast & snacks/beverages. If you're looking for a nice, quiet, upscale accommodation, this is a great place. We will definitely return.
