Vacations Close To Cliffside Lake Recreation Area

The floor in my room was coming up and where it was coming up you could feel soft spots underneath. Also, the shower had no plastic shower curtain and the shower nozzle used means that water would soak through the cloth shower curtain and the floor and bath mat would be soaked. Dangerous to be stepping out onto a wet tile floor. And the toilet was wobbly.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent - we walked everywhere. Breakfast was delicious in the on lobby. Hotel was clean and beautifully decorated with a spectacular view of the mountains.

It was in a great part of town. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I love that dogs are welcome. They even had a dog on display for adoption. It was a great stay.

The Inn is clean, cozy and feels like traveling back into the past. We enjoyed the beautiful architecture and hand carved wood paneling. We enjoyed the wraparound veranda, both for breakfast and in the evenings. We lounged by the indoor fireplace as well. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was private and clean as well. The Inn is conveniently located close to the Biltmore as well as the downtown Asheville area. Would highly recommend this to adult travelers.
