This hotel is obviously older than others we've stayed in and does show age, understandably. Very slow, creaky elevators were a bit unnerving. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable as well. A/C (it was 30 degrees Celsius during our couple of days in Cleveland) worked really well for which we were grateful! The included breakfast was wonderful and quickly replenished when needed. We will definitely book here again on our next trip to Cleveland.

We wanted to love this place. The vending machines were out of order, the ice machines were broken, and there were no tissues in the room. The A/C was relatively cool but the air was humid. The area is safe and the hotel's proximity to the Theater District is great, but we will not return to the Comfort Inn Downtown.

We stayed here one night to catch an MLB game. Location is good since it is close to downtown and the ball park (and the arena too), yet just a few blocks outside of the more expensive truly downtown hotels. They serve a decent hot breakfast included with my stay, and there was Dunkin’ across the street too. They have convenient paid parking across the laneway behind the hotel which came in handy. We were able to walk to and from the game, enjoyed some drinks after the game and felt very safe in our walk back the property. The hotel itself is very dated. There is nothing there that makes me feel I must come back, but for the price, as a place to sleep after the game, it was fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful by the way.

First impressions weren’t bad for this hotel but after reading a few reviews I was not expecting this hotel to be as nice as it is. Very convenient location to sports fans or Rock and Roll HOF visitors. Very nice, good size park close by for exercise. Just a really clean place with a great staff. Relatively quiet but it is downtown. 1/2 price of the properties nearby. The only negative thing I could say if I had to is parking is $15 a day but I had a guaranteed spot which is worth $15. Also I didn’t have to look for parking at Progressive field. It’s a 10 from me
