Only concerning thing didn't have to do with the hotel- it was the homeless person skulking around the outside of the hotel across the way looking in windows. Didn't seem to be many non-sitdown restaurants nearby.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and just what we needed. Today as we were checking out, a cooler fell off our luggage trolley. A hotel employee, I believe a breakfast employee, helped us clean it up. Then she walked out with us carrying some of our items just to help!! There are good people in this world, especially at Holiday Inn in Elyria, Ohio.

We were very pleased with our room as well as the proximity to good restaurants, etc. It's not often rated, but the lighting was especially good--the rooms were well lit and the lamp switches were easy to find and turn on.
