“A really comfortable hotel in a lovely village well placed for exploring North Yorkshire. The staff were all excellent, the food was superb and the bed was very comfortable. It’s not super modern as it’s in an old building but this makes it cosy and very comfortable. The outdoor pool is heated so lovely for a dip before breakfast.”

The room was spotlessly clean, featuring a great shower, huge plush towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. “Friendly staff, room was value for money. A little disappointed that the restaurant was only serving same food as bar, especially as booked for a birthday. Bar staff very customer orientated and super friendly, made as fuss of hubby for his birthday.”
