A canny location for getting out and about and reasonably priced. However the spa facilities it turned aren't included in the price and are in sessions, £20 for 3 hours, which I guess is quite reasonable, however not if you just wanted to have an hour for a quick relax in the hot tub or a swim before going out to tea etc, which was the reason for my booking this hotel. Not did I appreciate the 9am door knocking along every room in the corridor on bank holiday Monday from "housekeeping". The hotel rooms are dated but clean and functional and the bar/restaurant has a modern feel.

Very spacious room with comfortable bed, views over the car park and grounds and pleasant seating area. The bathroom had plenty of towels and good captive toiletries but overall felt a little dated with an over bath shower. Good to see that there are solar panels on the hotel roof.
