Gets the job done

There aren’t many lodging options in Clarksdale, so this was one of few available to stay near the Tennessee Williams Festival. It was convenient and minimal.

The property was quiet at certain hours of the night. I didn’t take pictures of my room like normally. So we checked in Thursday evening and checked out this morning. After leaving getting on the road I get a car from the hotel saying we stole some pillows and they are $40 and I need to pay. Or the police will be called and my ID information will be given. Why would I steal pillows that everyone has slept on. When I go to hotel I take sheets and cover. The sir condition front is broken the bathroom door broken. Tub wasn’t clean and roaches on the wall. Quite possibly the nastiest motel I’ve ever stayed at in my 66 years. 2 of 4 lamps did not work (broken switch). Clock radio broken and would not operate at all. Bathroom floor tile, tub and carpet is filthy. Furniture looks like it had not been dusted in months. Holes in the window curtain, No toilet paper. I can’t begin to describe. Do not waste your money staying here if you have to drive 100 miles for another motel.

Wem eine kräftige Staubschicht auf der abgenutzten Einrichtung, ein sparkiges Badezimmer und nicht irgendwelche Insekten im Bett mag, sollte hier eichecken. Wir haben darauf verzichtet und sind sofort zum nächsten Ziel unserer Rundreise weitergefahren. Die einzige positive Erfahrung war die Erstattung zumindest einer Übernachtung (als eine Art Entschädigung).

Our room was so filthy it had a dead fly on the counter in the restroom area the room smelled very bad it was very dusty just a horrible way to sleep on a one night vacation my kids were so scared I wiped the room down myself with lysol and bleach so they could get some rest
