What a wonderful find! Perfectly clean and cozy, beautiful scenery and nature but still awesome dinner, pub, and then breakfast nearby! Fantastic stay!
Convenient next to Sherrie’s pub. The room was very small, no tables or chairs in the room. No hooks for towels ect…it was very clean though. No windows either.
Quaint and comfy quarters next door to a bustling’ pub! Awesome food and drink, great service! A little confusing at check in and check out but bed super comfy so I was well rested to deal with life!
Loads of parking and easy to get to Galway from here. Beds were comfy and it was clean. You could hear everything happening outside the room though, and it wasn't the clearest that you had to check in in the bar.
Would have preferred stronger water pressure or a different showerhead, but overall, we had an excellent stay. We had awesome weather, but as a result, our room was very warm. It would have been great to have a fan in the room.

The room and bathroom was cute and cozy. Parking was free and very close.
Paddy’s was next door so food and pub within 2 minutes.
Grocery store and pharmacy within a 4 minute walk.
The rooms were clean and modern. The guy that checked us in helped carry our bags up the stairs.
Parking was a bit of a jam, we got in Sunday evening, and the pub was packed, we had to wade thru the pub to get to the check in desk.
The hotel was adjoining so I would leave the bags til you get checked in, then head outside to the rooms next door.
Once we got settled the pub was great, live traditional Irish music, very friendly atmosphere
The room was clean, parking was an adequate. The entrance and how you check in is a bit strange. Especially with a crowded bar and restaurant!! The WiFi didn’t work, the tv remote didn’t work therefore NO tv. Quite surprised with a pub close to downstairs the room was quite.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The room was smaller than the nightly price. It was cold, insufficiently equipped and noisy. When a neighboring room used the toilet or shower it sounded like a river going through the room. The staff in the pub was gracious but there is nothing to do in the area
This was our fav place that we stayed so far in Ireland. The staff were amazing. Joe was our server for dinner and he was AMAZING. The food was sooooo good and our room was extremely clean and well taken care of.
10/10 would recommend The Oyster House

It was an okay stay overall. The property being attached to a bar/restaurant was definitely convenient, but it also meant there was no front desk or elevator, so check-in was a little confusing at first until a server in the restaurant helped us.
The place looks much better in photos than it does in person. The room was very small compared to what we expected, the TV didn’t work, and the WiFi barely worked during our stay. There was also a pretty bad smell coming from the bathroom that I tried contacting the property about, but unfortunately never got a response.
The beds were also pretty uncomfortable, which was disappointing while traveling on vacation. There aren’t many food options nearby either, so definitely plan ahead and make reservations because restaurants book up quickly — we almost didn’t get dinner one night.
It works fine for a short one or two night stay, but we probably wouldn’t stay again.
The rooms are very small, there is not customer service, you need to go to the bar to check in and no body to help you with any room service, very far from the city and transportation even know said 20 minutes they charge $40+ each way I won’t recommend for more than 1 day stay
