This property exists as a small hotel inside a large building, look for the sign outside the main building. We loved it!!! Very clean, comfortable beds, nice rooms. The gentleman assisting us was very pleasant, informative and helpful. The breakfast is pastries and coffee and in the room upon check in. We would definitely stay here again!!!!!

The manager was extremely helpful and caring. He made sure we understood all about the amenities and also recommended nearby restaurants. We accidently forgot our medicines in the refrigerator and he went check and offered to bring them to us on the cruise ship which is excellent customer service. Highly recommend. LOVE LOVE

I would classify the Museum Guest House as an Airbnb rather than a hotel. Basket of goodies was in the room for breakfast options with yogurt and milk in the fridge. Our room was in excellent shape and bathroom was very comfortable. Check in was a bit challenging, (my fault as I kept looking for a hotel instead of a section of rooms on the 2nd floor,)but only had a few minutes wait for the hostess to check us in so we could get settled. We stayed one night before a cruise. The property was an easy walk from the train station and I booked with them transfer to the port in the morning. I would not hesitate to book this property again for a stay in Civitavecchia before or after a cruise.

The host was very clear with instructions even though English is not his first language. The elevator is very small and two flight of stairs if walking. We felt safe as after dark the downstairs doors are locked and you need a code to enter. Location was great. I would highly recommend staying here if going on a cruise

A great little place in Italy. Great price. Clean. Nice big towels. Everything you need the days before a cruise. Right in downtown Civitavecchia. Steps away from restaurants and little shops. Close to free town shuttle. 10 minute walk to where tours start. Lovely helpful gentleman that runs the place. Answers all your questions with great patience. Adequate breakfast. Prepackaged buns. Juices, yogurt, water and beer left in fridge for you. Kettle with teas and coffee. All you really need.

Our stay with Francesco in Civitavecchia was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. We have visited Civitavecchia many times over the years and have enjoyed many wonderful hotels, restaurants, and experiences throughout the city. Because of that, we can honestly say that this stay was especially memorable. Francesco’s kindness, generosity, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression on us. From the moment we arrived, communication was excellent. Francesco was welcoming, attentive, and truly cared about ensuring that we had a wonderful experience. His thoughtfulness and warmth made us feel not just like guests, but like friends. The location could not have been better, particularly for anyone traveling before or after a cruise. Everything was convenient and easy to reach, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. We loved the incredible food, the joyful and welcoming people, and the ease of getting around. The value for money was exceptional, and several of our favorite dining establishments were just steps away. Civitavecchia has so much to offer and is often overlooked as simply a cruise port. In reality, it is a delightful destination with excellent restaurants, beautiful scenery, and a wonderful atmosphere all its own.
