Vacations Close To Civic Museum

This hotel was near perfect. If they had memory foam beds I would never want to leave.

I can’t tell you how beautiful the resort was, the staff amazing, the rooms beautiful and clean. They have entertainment every night, music till 1130/12. Gelato on site. Sandwiches and desserts. Only think it lacks is more restaurant options, there was a buffet option, but ok. Breakfast was included and amazing and delicious There was a restaurant but they need more options. I would go back in a heartbeat

The staff at this hotel are amazing, all of them: receptionists, cleaning ladies, restaurant staff, pool staff and caretakers. They are helpful, efficient and just lovely people. The room was clean, spacious and had all we needed. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. There is plenty on site parking and the beach is few blocks away. There are very good restaurants, ice-cream and supermarket nearby. The beach itself was like a huge swimming pool with clear blue/green water. There is also a transfer from near the hotel to the airport that cost only €6/person. If I return to Sicily, I'll definitely stay at the Conchiglia D'Oro again.

The room was clean but it was NOT in the hotel and NOT as advertised. The hallway was dark, the elevator was slow - better to walk the 6 flights of stairs. There was no one on the front desk when we arrived so we waited 15 minutes to check in. It was a very unwelcoming place and we did not feel safe there. The price changed by $100 when we paid for it with all fees in versus what it was advertised for. This is absolute FALSE advertising.
