We loved it here! The views, room, and building were beautiful! Loved having breakfast, restaurant, and bar option at hotel. Rooms had adjustable air conditioning (very important to us for sleeping in cold at night). Our room windows were directly next to a street/sidewalk. We had to keep them closed all the time for privacy, so lighting in room was eh. Staff were very friendly. We are from the U.S. and no staff spoke any English, so we had to fully communicate through Google Translate. This can be difficult sometimes, but communicating was manageable. For any first time visitors, I would recommend staying here because it is out of Central Antigua which can be very busy and loud. We were a 15-20 minute Uber and appreciated being out of the chaos. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend!

Beautiful and relaxing hotel. Great breakfast. The rooms are right on the busy road and but there is double glazing on the windows which overall makes it quieter than any of central Antigua's hotels. The hotel is just a chicken bus ride from the city.

This place is so beautiful and quiet. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The court yard is such an amazing amenities where we laid in the grass and watched the volcano erupt. I really enjoyed this place just wish the water was hotter in the shower. Also server Leslie was great!!

Our stay was great. The staff were very accommodating and gave great service throughout the entire stay. If it was anything that needed to be addressed they addressed it immediately. Breakfast was cooked every morning to order and it was a real treat. Views are amazing and the location was great. Overall great experience.

The room was nice but the TV wifi connection was horrible. The pool was nice but they can do a better job cleaning it daily. Was full of bugs and greenery. Breakfast was good. The views is what is really worth it here.

Unique: its a wonderful old property that is being adjusted as a hotel. Its beautiful, quiet even though there is a "main" road next to it (you practically dont notice the cars and bikes while eating breakfast) and the windows are new so the rooms are quiet. The view is great, food is of high quality, its not packed like other hotels, though it is probably bc we were there during the week. Nice interior design, minimal and fits the Antigua feeling. Things to improve: storage space or just a few hangers in the bathroom and the room could change the experience, we had our luggage on the floor and didnt have a proper place to put towels and clean clothes while taking a shower etc. The pool was a bit forgotten, but i totally get that every single detail cant be perfect while the project is still ongoing. Unfortunate event: we arrived and had to wait half an hour for someone to check us in. That was not cool, even though the night staff (chef and waitress) did what they could to phone someone in. The chef, who created awesome meals, had no hesitation in helping us with the luggage, which i view as a perfect human quality and it signs over to the loyalty he has with the owners. It is important that employers treat their staff decently and that is something i value. Downside of that: they could have tried to offer a compliment drink for that, its important as a service to try and keep the client happy, sometimes its minor details. Other than that, can recommend.

It was a beautiful place! My room was perfect and the views were amazing. However, I was unaware how loud the area could be. Thereā€™s a field behind the hotel where a concert of some sort took place one of the nights I was there. Other than all the noise, the place was fantastic

Stylish hotel, incredible view of Volcan de Agua. It is a historic building with lots of character, great for photos. Original pool out of a fountain. Close to Antigua, 10mn uber or 15mn by public bus. Staff was kind and helpful but most speak limited English, something to keep in mind if your Spanish is limited too. One young lady however was very fluent in at least 3 languages! The food at the "bistro" was very good, unfortunately our last morning we waited a very long time for an unknown reason, whereas the two previous days it was pretty fast. Some rooms are along an important road: they provide earplugs but it can be still noisy at times until 10pm and starting at 5am, so plan your days accordingly. Cannot compare to an Antigua proper hotel since we did not sleep there, but I'd recommend as a good alternative if you cannot find something within your budget there

Great Hotel

This is a beautiful hotel. There is air condition. The service was amazing from the staff. They provide a shuttle but one day out of our four days it was not available. Within walking distance to a plaza with food and shopping. The free breakfast was very tasty and you get a variety of items to choose from.
