I very much enjoyed my stay at Lucerna. It is clean, affordable, staff is super hospitable! The breakfast at the restaurant in not included but it's a discounted rate and it is DELICIOUS, we also had wings and fries from there which were also great. Drinks at the bar are made to order, fresh! The breakfast included in your stay is on the 6th floor, it is limited but it also very delicious and serves is good. They also have a happy hour on the 6th floor which is very enjoyable ! The pool area and pool could be a little cleaner but it was also nice. They also provide transport to consulate appointments. Ivan is a staff member and he was awesome, he was a serve at HH, bellhop, driver all the things! The server in the evening time I forgot his name but he was also ver accommodating! Very safe, stores are walking distance, secure parking available if needed.

I've stayed here for years but this hotel seem to be dropping in quality a little bit. the hot tub hasnt worked the last 3 times ive stayed. the bed we had in our room was broke it kept poping out of the bed rail or clank everytime we moved. the room had a funky smell. The service is always great.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and the staff is always nice and extremely professional. However on July 5 our one night stay was not good. Our room (719) had a very bad damp/not clean smell. There was evidence of previous leaking in a few spots in the ceiling and the sheets and carpet had the same smell. It doesn’t appear that the room had been recently used or cleaned in a while. We slept with the balcony open in triple digit heat just to air it out.

Parking was good and seemed secure. One of the beds in the room had hairs (not mine) all over. Bathroom shower needed repair, tub faucet was barely hanging on. Annoying beeping sound when shower on. Sink sprayed everywhere when you turned on, causing water to flood the counter and drip to the floor. Only one working elevator so often had to wait if someone was using it. Max capacity of 5 ppl in elevator. AC took long to cool - room was very hot at first and you have to leave the key to make sure it doesn’t turn off when you’re away. Never reached set point. Tv was hard to work and volume only worked from the tv not remote. Staff wasn’t rude but not friendly upon check in. I asked about extending our stay and was told I needed to ask when I checked out. I had to ask the restaurant about the breakfast buffet process and hours. Waiters were very nice and attentive, the most helpful and friendly staff were the waiters. Expected more for the price and level of hotel- supposed to be 4 stars. Glad I didn’t extend my stay, went accross the street to iStay- although more dated rooms, they were friendlier, cleaner more amenities and better proximity to stores without crossing the busy street.
