Canadian travellers here! The location was relatively safe but on a tight secluded street. It was not very close to any good restaurants or cafes; a ~15-20 min walk to anything decent. We had to call down to get new sheets as there was hair & stains on them when we arrived. The bathroom was very small but clean. The carpet looked like it had never been vacuumed before. Overall the price point reflected the quality of the room. Staff was helpful and friendly. We booked 1 bed but got a room with 2 beds so it was very spacious.

This hotel is in a perfect location. Several metro options nearby. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. We had a triple room with 3 separate single beds. Room had good amount of space without feeling overcrowded. Highly recommend this hotel.

Outstanding staff, from check-in to restaurant to housekeeping, all first class. Our room was very comfortable, there are usb outlets and lamps bedside which are convenient. Our room faced a small courtyard and neighboring building so there was no view but it was very quiet. All around good stay

This was my fourth trip to Paris, staying in a different area each time, and my first stay at Hôtel Pont Royal. I can confidently say this has been the most convenient location I’ve experienced in Paris! I absolutely loved Saint-Germain-des-Prés and would stay here again without hesitation.
We booked a Premium Room with a balcony, and the views were incredible. From our balcony, we could see the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Cœur, and even the Paris 2024 Olympic Cauldron, the famous balloon that rises above the city and glows like a flame at night. Watching the Paris skyline light up from our balcony was magical.
The location is exceptional, surrounded by cafés, restaurants and shops, with a grocery store literally steps from the hotel, incredibly convenient for water, snacks or wine.
The hotel bar was another highlight. The cocktails were exquisite, including drinks featuring rare Chartreuse! Be prepared for around €24 per cocktail, definitely a splurge, but well worth it.
My only wish is that the hotel had a spa. For a five-star property, a Jacuzzi, dry sauna or steam room would be a wonderful addition after a long day walking Paris.
Overall, I absolutely loved our stay. After four trips to Paris, this is easily my favorite location for convenience. First stay at Hôtel Pont Royal, but definitely not my last! Go to Montargis by train if you want to experience a little village, not too far away from Paris.

Good location - rooms were a little small especially the toilet. Lovely breakfast though.
